Redevelopment of the contemporary art center of Châteauvert : a necessary step for the measurement of the Agglomeration for contemporary art on the territory

January 2 - July 6

The Châteauvert contemporary art center will be closed to the public during the first semester 2023. These works are a necessary step to measure our ambitions for contemporary art in Provence Verte. They will allow them to deploy even better and this in order to offer an even more complete experience of contemporary art to our visitors..

In effect, in the field of contemporary art, the Provence Verte Agglomeration offers optimal conditions for the dissemination of works, support for the creation or the implementation of artistic mediations adapted to each person within the contemporary art center of Châteauvert, essential place for contemporary art in the territory, and develops numerous contemporary art projects on the scale of its 28 member municipalities.

The art center will reopen on 7 July with the first exhibition in a cultural institution in the south of France by the duo Martine Feipel and Jean Béchameil.

However, the activities of the art center team will be maintained during the time of the works, particularly in terms of projects developed outside the walls..
