PHONOGRAPHS — RESTITUTION EAC RESIDENCE

PHONOGRAPHIES comes from an Artistic and Cultural Education residency led by the CACC with the artist Arnaud Maguet and first and final year students, plastic arts option, from Raynouard high school in Brignoles, accompanied by their teacher.
Through listening, collecting and recording sounds in their environment, the students experimented with phonography, ou field recording. They then selected, assembled and edited these sound samples in order to collectively construct a story.
The restitution presented at the CACC brings together the traces and forms produced throughout this experience : not an exhibition strictly speaking, but the visible and audible extension of a work process shared between the artist and the students.
This residency is part of the Artistic and Cultural Education policy of the Provence Verte Agglomeration, labeled 100 % EAC, with the support of the DRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the South Region.
