Welcome to the Garden Festival

Initiated in 2021 by the Châteauvert Art Center, the festival is now part of the “Rendez-vous aux jardins” weekends at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture. The theme of the year 2026 is “The view”, between the exhibition “What concerns us” and the theme 2026, the CACC is in the spotlight with a renewed program.

• Saturday 6 Youri Cayron's creative documentary focuses on working-class memory and the history of the Tanneries de Barjols and mixes archive images and images :

-19h00 – Inauguration of “Palpares Libeluloides” œuvre temporaire d’Hilario Isola dans le jardin de sculptures.

-14h30 – Guided tour of the exhibition.

-15h30 – Conférence / discussion with the artist Julie C. Fortier author of the work “Oiseau-Pays”, artistic commission for the Châteauvert Contemporary Art Center by the Provence Verte Agglomeration as part of the “territorial appropriation” program carried out by the Early Childhood service of the family center, sport and culture. Multidisciplinary artist and willing to do everything, Julie C's practice. Fortier comprend un axe recherche dans le domaine des expériences olfactives, qui fera également l’objet de cette conférence.

-18h00 – Conférence / discussion : Welcome to Domaine du Rayol. Accueil des résident·e·s “art et science” du Domaine du Rayol : Jacques Tassin est écologue, directeur de recherches (HDR) en écologie au CIRAD (Montpellier) et membre de l’unité de recherche “Forêts et Sociétés”. Iglika Christova est plasticienne et Docteur de l’Université Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne en Arts et Sciences de l’art. Elle s’inscrit dans une recherche interdisciplinaire entre l’art et la biologie.

-20h00 – Restauration aux Couverts d’Argens By Avant-goût or pique-nique dans la prairie.

-22h00 – Première soirée “Les nuits astronomiques”.
