Mobility, availability, matrescence, flexibility, chicken pox, exhaustion, hyperactivity, resistance, career, night terrors, ambition, exhaustion, curiosity, isolation, mental burden, search, visibility, network, withdrawal, fulfillment...

Dealing with contradictory injunctions, stereotypes, inequalities and taboos within the professional field of contemporary art in France today raises complex issues for art workers. This paradoxical framework particularly penalizes women who are identified, a fortiori those who have made the choice of motherhood and the multiplicity of roles it implies.
« J’peux pas, j’ai tarte aux pommes. » shares a reflection and tools contributing to a possible articulation between art and life, between the personal and the professional, while emancipating oneself from assignments and other sexist alienations is a challenge in a society that still often forces women to choose between creation and procreation. And if it was enough to establish a new paradigm of creation, of the production and writing of art and its history today ? Or to think and requalify collectively the stimulating intersections between artistic creation and motherhood ? So many avenues that would allow a more egalitarian presence of women's work identified (artists, critics, commissioners) on the contemporary art scene, as many recent initiatives have shown.
