Second opus of the Welcome to the Garden Festival, A new story is the first act of a program inviting the encounter between different stories that originate in a garden in Provence Verte. ...
During his residency in the fall 2021 at the art center – as part of the Rouverture le monde de l’Eté Culturel scheme set up by the Ministry of Culture – Rudy Ayoun produced his first landscapes in the presbytery workshop. Thus, paradoxically, Welcome to the garden - A new story begins inside the art center with the hanging of these landscapes, inviting visitors to go out and discover the garden..
Through his portraits of people who live in wild habitats, Léna Durr relies on ethnographic and documentary work to deploy an intimate and benevolent story, in which she shows paths and ways of life, which escape the established rules, out of step and resistant to imposed standards, unstable territories where notions of wealth, of happiness and free time are called into question.
Through the publication of port books, the Port des Créateurs in Toulon is committed to highlighting creative processes, transgenerational, locally anchored, by portraits of places of culture or established artists, emerging, who have passed, of passage or income. This year : Focus on Léna Durr and the contemporary art center of Châteauvert.
The contemporary art center of Châteauvert joins forces with Art-O-Rama to offer young graduates of art schools in the South Region a residency within the framework of the South Region Prize.
