Educational project “A Breath in the Wind” by Christian VIALARD at Guy de Maupassant college – Gareoult

The Provence Verte Agglomeration and the art center are pleased to invite you to the restitution of the educational project “A Breath in the Wind” by Christian VIALARD with students from Guy de Maupassant de Garéoult college at the Châteauvert Contemporary Art Center.

This moment was imagined in close collaboration with the teachers involved in this project and the students as an experience on the subject of breathing, while exploring its influence on contemporary music and art practices and adding the manufacturing of PVC instruments, DIY masks by favoring recycled materials. These plastic elements and these instruments will be used to compose in the Châteauvert sculpture park a sound and musical moment in sympathy with the place.

The educational project offers an exploration of the connection between sound, the body and nature with instruments built by the students themselves.
