The workshop for experimenting – Tie and Dye

The second Sunday of the month, the art center mediation team offers an artistic practice workshop.

Topics vary, can be followed from one month to the next. Fun and experimental discovery, come and introduce yourself to a new practice for a Sunday afternoon.

Sunday 8 November, atelier TIE AND DYE: Venez découvrir cette technique de teinture inspirée du Shibori et repartez avec un tote bag du centre d’art customisé ! Prévoyez un textile en coton blanc uni (T-Shirt, torchon, morceau de tissu ou autre tote bag) pour réaliser une seconde expérience.

Cette technique de teinture japonaise ancestrale consiste à plier, tordre, nouer, coudre ou comprimer du tissu avant de le plonger dans un bain de couleur. Les zones attachées ou serrées empêchent la teinture de pénétrer, ce qui crée des motifs géométriques uniques et des dégradés.
