The journey of Eleanor of Cellès, born among rolls of fabric, shaped his artistic existence from his early childhood. Immersed in crafts and making, she preferred authentic couture to the superficiality of fashion. Since the age of 14 years old, she explores her talent as a painter, transcending boundaries between artistic disciplines.
To 17 years old, she becomes a clever little hand in a second-hand clothing store in Aix-en-Provence, while continuing his studies in Visual Arts. Her academic career took her to Toulouse for university studies in semiology., history of art and plastic arts.
Week ends, she sells misused objects at the Saint Sernin flea market and exhibits her creations at Arsenic, wins a selection for the Bourdelle prize in Montauban.
In 1996, she settles in Paris, working first for Agnès B. before taking over as artistic director of the Blancs Manteaux fashion house. She then created Éditions Aliénor on behalf of authors and opened 2002 the Aliénor creative office in Marseille. While continuing her career as an artistic director, she develops her activities as a painter, illustrator, gallery owner and entrepreneur.
In 2007, she launches the Mademoiselle Aliénor brand, offering a more confidential and arty artistic freedom than Blancs Manteaux. She collaborates with theater companies in Brazil, designs costumes for TV series and commercials (EDF, among others), and regularly exhibits his painting in contemporary art galleries.
In 2015, Aliénor focuses more on her painting and illustration, exhibiting regularly and benefiting from an artistic residency at Ici Montreuil.
