INTERNSHIP OFFER – Management of exhibitions and works of the sculpture garden
November 7 @ 8h00 - December 9 @ 19h00
The Art Center, located to the north of the Provence Verte urban area, is both a temporary programming space and a sculpture park in dialogue with the landscape, rich in its 23 works.
Black metal cube overlooking a meadow bordered by the Argens river, the Art Center opened its doors in 2014 and is naturally oriented, in the heart of this preserved natural setting, around life-related issues. However, its programming is worked through a reflection combining both aesthetic questions, societal, current environmental or economic issues, thus decompartmentalizing disciplines and approaches to offer audiences unique readings of the contemporary world.
The Art Center in Châteauvert of the Provence Verte Agglomeration is also a place of reference for contemporary artists through its residency program throughout the year. It also deploys numerous actions within and outside the walls, to specific audiences, nurseries, schools but also organizations and associations in the social field, in the medical and hospital sector, for a dense and very rich territorial network, allowing everyone to appropriate contemporary creation as well as many artists to intervene in it.
The Art Center in a few figures :
Each year, the Art Center receives approximately 6000 visitors, dont 600 students from kindergarten to high school, groups formed for a few 300 people. Its actions outside the walls also affect a little more than 250 people annually.
The Châteauvert contemporary art center belongs to the cultural establishments of the Provence Verte Agglomeration.
On the national territory, the Châteauvert Contemporary Art Center is a member of the ARTS IN RESIDENCE network.
