Exhibition Mine and a LEGO® brick

The Gueules Rouges Museum is proud to present its new exhibition highlighting the history of mining in a LEGO® brick version.

From 13 May to 26 November 2023, come and discover a playful and intergenerational exhibition that will appeal to young and old.

Close to 75 000 LEGO® bricks were used to create scale models of various key parts of the mining world such as mine cuts, the headframes, pitheads and lamps. This exhibition was designed and produced in collaboration with the company BrickEvent and the Center Minier de Faymoreau, both located in Vendée. Adapted to local bauxite color, this exhibition is now offered in the Provence Verte Agglomeration.

By browsing the exhibition, you will discover another facet of the coal adventure thanks to an original and interactive presentation. Visitors can experience the magic of LEGO® bricks by creating their own memory of the mine, from 4 years old.

• The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday 13 May at 6 p.m. on the occasion of the European Night of Museums.
