It flutters – Internship on insects and contemporary art

This first course at the art center is intended for children from 6 to 12 years and has for theme insects and contemporary art.

In the program :

Monday :
> Séance 1 : Sensory discovery of the sculpture garden, then creation of an insect hotel.

Mardi :
> Séance 2 : The children will discover the work of the artist Joan Fontcuberta then they will go in search of the insects of the art center and on their naturalist observation board, they will crunch them and imagine an imaginary bestiary in the manner of the artist.

Wednesday:
> Séance 3 : Creation of an origami naturalist observation board.

THURSDAY :
> Séance 4 (Coupled with the “butterfly effect” holiday workshop )
Visit the Feipel and Béchameil expo, then discovery of the work of the artist Carlos Amorales – black cloud, and finally explanation of the final project :
Creation of a multitude of origami butterflies, in order to create an installation on the grids of the art center.

Friday :
> Séance 5 : Continuation of the session 4, creation of butterflies and installation on the grids of the art center, followed by a mini vernissage with the parents
