DESCRIPTION:Le label national “Tourisme & Handicap” a été renouvelé pour le Musée des Gueules Rouges. This label now constitutes the national reference in terms of accessibility. It is a real guarantee of quality for visitors and a development lever for tourist structures engaged in an approach to inclusion.. \nCe label a été obtenu une première fois en 2015\, élargi aux quatre familles de handicap\, (moteur\, mental\, auditory and visual) in 2020\, then renewed in 2026. Obtained with a success rate of 100 %\, it demonstrates the constant commitment of the Musée des Gueules Rouges to accessibility. It highlights the numerous actions allowing people with disabilities to discover the mining history of the territory in the best conditions.. En complément\, le musée met à disposition des outils comme une maquette tactile\, une boucle magnétique à l’accueil\, des audio-guides\, des plans adaptés du musée\, des lampes torches\, des sièges d’appoint\, des fauteuil roulant\, magnifying glasses and an elevator. \n  \nDe nouveaux outils et dispositifs pour une médiation inclusive \nLe Musée des Gueules Rouges souhaite permettre à chacun de découvrir le musée et son histoire. Pour cela\, new tools and new visits are offered to facilitate access to culture. Un livret “Comment venir au Musée des Gueules rouges”\, in FALC (Easy to read and understand)\, was created in collaboration with Parih 83 and the Quoi2Neuf association ? \n👉🏻 2026 FALC – Comment venir au Musée des Gueules Rouges \nDès septembre\, a new accessible offer will allow you to discover the mine and the museum through visits and adapted creative workshops. \nÀ partir de 2027\, les visiteurs pourront également découvrir le musée de manière plus autonome\, thanks to the creation of a FALC visit support. \nToutes ces actions ont un même objectif : permettre à tous de découvrir l’histoire de la bauxite et des “Gueules Rouges”. Des audioguides sont disponibles en anglais\, allemand et italien  \nLes animaux ne sont pas admis dans le musée\, with the exception of guide dogs. \nLe musée est fermé du 16/12 to 1/02 and 1/05\, 1/11 and 11/11. \n\n   Visits of the mine are only at fixed times and accompanied by the museum guide.
