SUMMARY:Mediation residency of Faustine REIBAUD-NICOLI - Lycée Raynouard\, Brignoles
DESCRIPTION:L’Agglomération Provence Verte et le centre d’art contemporain de Châteauvert développe un partenariat avec le lycée Raynouard à Brignoles depuis quelques années dans le cadre de ses actions d’éducation artistiques et culturelles et a invité Faustine Reibaud-Nicoli à une résidence de médiation sur plusieurs mois au sein de l’option arts plastiques du lycée. \nCe projet a pour vocation de créer collectivement sous forme performative – poétique et sonore\, en interrogeant la notion de territoire\, approached in its most diversified dimension. This work will be presented in the auditorium of the intercommunal conservatory in Brignoles. \nNée en 1993\, Faustine Reibaud-Nicoli is a director and visual artist. She lives and works between Correns and Marseille. Diplômée de la Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin de Strasbourg\, she works the video medium through documentary-type films and installations. Elle a également une pratique tout aussi importante de l’écriture poétique\, photography and drawing. Les origines de l’artiste prenant racines autour de la Méditerranée\, she finds fertile ground there for her production and the reflections she develops.. "When are we at home ? asks Barbara Cassin : this reflection has accompanied his work for several years. En effet\, Faustine s’intéresse aux questions d’appartenance d’un individu à un lieu\, à la résonance des êtres par rapport à une terre\, to what intimately defines a form of home. SUMMARY:Anniversary of 10 ans du musée des Gueules Rouges
DESCRIPTION:The Gueules Rouges Museum celebrates its anniversary ! \nEn 2012\, the museum opened to the public after an incredible human adventure. \nLe dimanche 4 december 2022\, à l’occasion de la Sainte-Barbe\, sainte patronne des mineurs\, the museum celebrates the 10 years of its opening. \nRetour sur la naissance du musée \nEn 1989\, à la fermeture des dernières mines de bauxite\, historical associations are mobilizing to work on the study and conservation of this activity which lasted about a century in the bignolais basin. En parallèle\, les mineurs\, grouped into an association also work to preserve the material traces of their former trades. \nÀ partir de 1999\, l’ensemble des partenaires\, chercheurs\, collectivités locales et anciens mineurs\, set up a preliminary project. Sous l’impulsion de la commune de Tourves\, it is proposed to rehabilitate the old cooperative cellar of the town and to install a museum there. \nÀ partir de 2006\, studies begin and 2008\, the first works are launched. At the end of 2 ans\, alors que le gros œuvre est terminé\, a dramatic fire delays the opening schedule. \nUne muséographie moderne et innovante est installée dans les différents espaces du bâtiment et l’association des Gueules Rouges du Var prend une part très active dans la reconstitution de la galerie. \nEn 2012\, the museum is inaugurated and has a significant impact in the region ; it naturally finds its place in the most frequented museums of the department. \nPrésentation du Musée des Gueules Rouges   \nActuellement géré par l’Agglomération Provence Verte\, le Musée des Gueules Rouges\, unique par son sujet évoqué\, retrace\, le long d’un parcours de visite ludique\, the history of bauxite mining in the Var. En visite libre\, grâce aux bornes interactives\, on découvre l’origine de la bauxite\, the techniques of transformation of this ore into aluminium and the contemporary uses of this metal. \nAccompagné d’un guide\, the public plunges into the heart of the life of the miners and walks through the reconstructed mine gallery. \nCe lieu culturel est un marqueur fort du territoire. À la fois comme lieu de mémoire collective pour les habitants du territoire\, dont un bon nombre compte des mineurs dans leurs familles\, but also for visitors who discover this rich past. \nLe musée est un lieu vivant\, ouvert sur le territoire\, welcoming all audiences. He is also a formidable transmitter of this memory. L’équipe du musée\, œuvre chaque jour très efficacement à l’accueil\, the animation and the conservation of the memory and the collections which are there. \nL’association des Gueules Rouges du Var maintient cette mémoire et l’état d’esprit qui ont permis l’ouverture et la vie du musée. Par son action tout au long de l’année\, the association allows a privileged meeting between visitors and former miners.
